The Austin LIG is made up of IT Service Management practitioners and vendors who do business in the Greater Austin area. The group exists to provide commercial organizations and vendors of products and services with a forum in which to exchange and share experiences which will assist organizations in managing their IT services in accordance with the best practices embodied in the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL®).

itSMF USA Austin's Mission is to enable Central Texas organizations to achieve measurable operational excellence by introducing, delivering, promoting, and sharing IT Service Management global best practices on an ongoing basis.
